well, folks, we decided that the time has come to take this forum seriously and move it forward; part of that is breaking a bit from the past and taking a fresh, clean look at our "mission." this forum has always been - and will always be - about what i call "the cross-roads of food, history, culture and geography." with that in mind, we've adopted a new logo for the forum that seeks to encompass this idea.

it's fresh, it's contemporary and it loads easily on any computer. The title is designed to stand out in a bright, clear way and the graphic is designed to work with it's background to help bring the title into focus, so that both the picture and the text highlight the all-encompassing commitment that we have to....the foods of the world.

the base-line, "bringing friends together through culinary heritage and diversity," is a development that really brings out the key goals that were in mind when this forum was created; every word is a tribute to that mission.

i sure like this new forum logo, and i hope you will as well.
