Posting this so I don't forget to take a look; recommended by a friend:

A History of Food in 100 Recipes by William Sitwell.

Will check it out later - long, busy and pretty nice day. Spent the day on the beautiful, wild and historic Missouri River, literally in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark, not to mention the pioneers and settlers who came after, as well as one artist named Charles M. Russell. Great day, did a lot of fishing, finally brought catfish home after almost 20 years without!

Catfish ! That is quite a treat ...

I recall having such lovely Catfish, in Texas enroute to New Mexico back in 1983 ... Never have forgotten how delightful it was ...
