Dan,

CHEF GRANT ACHATZ is one of the few XXI Chefs, I have not had the pleasure in tasting his Taster´s Carte.

GRANT is brilliant and the next trip over in 2014, hopefully we can get over to Chicago to have lunch at ALINEA.

I have been to all in Manhattan and most in California; and of course Chef José Andrés, who I know and interviewed several years ago.

Thank you for your extraordinairy commentary and have lovely weekend.

Margaux.

Hi Margi!  Hope all is going well.

This dinner at Alinea was certainly a treat.  I can also see how some people wouldn't care for this type of cuisine.  I've eaten at a number of Michelin Star restaurants that were good...but not any where near special.  Eating at Alinea, for me, was as memorable as any good vacation I've been on.

I hope to, someday, eat at one of José Andrés's places...you got to love the passion that man has Clap

   Have a good weekend!

Dan,

I am so pleased to hear that ALINEA was a truly
pleasurably experience. I have Heard only marvelous accounts
on GRANT ACHATZ.

José Andrés Miami Beach was too, however, I really
loved TAPAS in D.C.

Always a pleasure to hear from you,

Margaux.
