This is the first Sunday of our National Football League, and I'm excited as always.
My beloved Patriots will play the Bills in Buffalo, and I'm very hopeful it will be a win.Thumbs Up

Well too be honest Ahron I tolerate rugby - it keeps the boys quiet... and I would never have got to your lovely land were it not for rugby... so I suppose it is a love/hate thing.

The sailing is very different - those catamarans are super sexy.

The score is now -   NZL  3  /  USA  -1        (yes that is a minus)
On Points...
Yachting is complex

Essentially its is the first boat to win 8 races.

5 up...

This is a tiny country that punches over its weight....

We did it once, twice would be nicer

The clip is from a much younger NZ, and it is still the way we are...

(But not the hair - thankfully that has progressed with our boats Big smile)

It was a great race, hard to watch, but well fought. There was nothing more our lads could have done. In the end money and resources were the winner.

If I was to pick one thing that we couldn't match... that computerized trimming system, we had a wee man with a rope, Oracle had a computer pushing automated hydraulics.  Man vs Machine.

And...either way it was a down-under win!
The crews are almost entirely Australians and New Zealanders. Only one American on Oracle and their boat was built just down the road from where I live.

All good fun and don't we all love to see billionaires spend money! I think I can still be happy that there was some awesome racing. Those cats are still beautiful.

Absolutely correct on all counts! And the "Z" buds did well for them selves, darn good fight!
Not sure about the computer trimming, I saw the sheets being hand trimmed.
