I made some chicken soup. I think my long deceased Grandmother would be proud of me.
I threw a (cleaned) quarter in the bottom of the bowl. Heads or tails? ![]() Heads it is! ![]() I tried the egg flowers again. I made them in a seperate deep pot of water and they turned out fine. However, when I transfered them to the hot bowl of soup using a slotted spoon, just the weight of the threads upon each other clumped them up. I didn't take a picture while they were in the other pot, so again, it's just not meant to be. Anyway, I went with a few slices of the white part of a green onion and a teaspoon or so of chicken fat melted in there. While fussing with the camera, things began to cool off and settle. It is what it is. And it was lunch. ![]() Hope you like it. |
