I made some chicken soup. I think my long deceased Grandmother would be proud of me.

I threw a (cleaned) quarter in the bottom of the bowl. Heads or tails?

Heads it is!

I tried the egg flowers again. I made them in a seperate deep pot of water and they turned out fine. However, when I transfered them to the hot bowl of soup using a slotted spoon, just the weight of the threads upon each other clumped them up. I didn't take a picture while they were in the other pot, so again, it's just not meant to be.

Anyway, I went with a few slices of the white part of a green onion and a teaspoon or so of chicken fat melted in there. While fussing with the camera, things began to cool off and settle. It is what it is. And it was lunch.

Hope you like it.
