I have finished my new smoker/ cooker and have redone the back deck area into a drying/ smoking/bbq cooking station.
From the left, harvest maid dryer. new smoker/ cooker, curing refrigerator, cold smoker and the propane grill with rotisserie.I have added a wind break as well. First test on the new smoker/cooker it got to 190F in less than 15 minutes so I shall have to watch it and learn the settings on the hotplate controls. The hotplate has 1, 500 and one 1000W coil, each coil has a separate control and it will allow a lot of control over temperature I hope the picture works. |

This is going to take a while to learn, outside temperature, 34F, 500 w coil at 6, temperature in box is 130F.
The big smoker with a 600 w coil only gets to 115F with an outside temperature of 90F. A LOT of difference! |
