Our last big dinner before Orthodox Lent. I decided to try the sous vide setting on my Instant Pot. Did a piece of filet mignon and a small moose roast (moose vide?). I would have liked to get better grill marks on the bbq afterward. Maybe next time. ![]() We had potatoes fried in duck fat with rosemary and garlic, fried mushrooms and onions and Slavyanka’s roasted beet and carrot salad. ![]() I’ve asked Slavyanka to do traditional Lenten dishes this year. I found when I cooked vegetarian a couple times a week for SS21 last summer I lost 10 lbs in 2 months. Can’t hurt.
