Son Nick and his fiance' just bought a house in Lexington, about thirty miles from here. Gonna have to learn to cook for just two again. Honestly, though it's like they have hardly left. While typing this I just got a text from Nick asking for my pancake recipe. Told him it's in the KAF Baker's Companion that we bought for Lydia for Christmas two years ago. Hope he can find the cookbook 'cause Lydia's at work. Otherwise I'm gonna ruin my fingers texting.
Best,
Tom

We're running into some of this in our home, as well. Out of 4 boys, #3 was the first to leave, 5 years ago. He's doing well, cooking at couple of great places in Great Falls.

#1 son also moved to great Falls last year and is now engaged to a fine young lady; it's pretty neat to see them tackling life together and doing fairly well.

#2 and #4 sons are still at home, but it won't be long until we are facing our own empty nest. While I am looking forward to this as I know it will mean they are living their lives, I hope they don't forget where we live.
