HALLOWEEN ENTERTAINING ANYBODY ?

I recall when we lived in Manhattan, we used to take the Gals Naia and Nathalia trick or treating, sort of a visit to a few close neighbors and small businesses we frequented.

Then, we would rent real theatre costumes, and go to a local Discotec for yearly Masquerade Contests. We won a three dollars for Rhett and Scarlett. One year we did an entirely different theme, an Indian and a Cowgirl and the most challenging was the Geisha & the Samarai Swordsman ... It was a ton of fun and we truly enjoyed getting dressed in real costumes.

DOES ANYBODY PREPARE SEASONAL TREATS OR DESSERTS OF THIS SPECIAL TIME ? DOES ANYBODY HOME ENTERTAIN OR TAKE THE CHILDREN TRICK OR TREATING ? DOES ANYBODY MAKE HOME MADE COSTUMES ?

Look forward to hearing all your wonderful stories and enjoying your feedback.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN,
Margi.

We get the big candy bars for the Trick-or-Treaters, but we live on a dead-end street, so sometimes we don't get any.

Margi, our trick or treat for Halloween is Sunday 4-6 pm.
So so many funny stories from years gone by.....teenagers in bikinis (boys) with half coconuts for some of their attire, huge farm trailers with 20 people at a time, the trailer decorated with corn stalks and carved pumpkins, little children in every cartoon character, princess, warrior, animal, fruits, vegetables, garden tractors with trailing wagons of kids.....so many fun years.

We expect them to say trick or treat, and then thank you and give them chocolate bars of all kinds and the little ones get twice as much because their mom's and dad's need candy too!
The weather has been snowing, raining, or clear with indian summer once every few years.

We don't dress up anymore, but we enjoy their little faces begging for candy. Best wishes for Halloween! ~Feather
