    Posted: 25 March 2013 at 12:52
   Hi All!

I was just wondering if anyone looks at, or uses the "thanks" feature in posts.  I'll commonly use this to thank people for some kind words, or advice they have given.  i was just wondering if anyone else uses this feature, or notices a "thanks" given.

   Thanks for reading...

Dan

I use it when I remember to ~ it's a way to give a person a "point" or an "attaboy" in a show of appreciation! Star

I use it when I remember too. Usually if I like a post but don't really have anything useful to add, I'll just use that instead of cluttering up the thread with a "thanks" post.

I am a journalist and prefer a more personalized note ... Howver it is less time consuming .. Howver lacks a discussion .

I use it on a post that seems to go a bit "above and beyond"...but don't always remember to.

Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate them all.  It's not as if there was any right or wrong answer, but I know there are times that I felt I didn't have anything "extra" to add to the discussion and use that feature.  I started to wonder if anyone used this feature or even noticed it.

  Have a great week all!

  Thanks,
Dan
