I love these things, but unfortunately don't have one any more -

I've been cruising the yard sales hoping to find one -

But no luck recently ~

If anyone has one lying around, and wants to get rid of it, let me know!

well ~ i've got one on the way ~ looks just like the one pictured here:

total price for unit and shipping: 24.95$, which is pretty reasonable but still about 5 times what its probably worth. i HATE it when common, every-day things suddenly become the darlings of "collectors" - it makes it hard on those of us who actually use older, reliable things.

can't wait until it arrives, at whcih time i intend to put it to good use!

At least you got the all-metal one, Ron. Good thing. The plastic version is crap, IMO.

yep, unfortunately, many garage-sale moulis will attest to that sad fact, brook.

i might run into a little bit of trouble with the handle. as you can see, the red top has come detached, but i am sure there should be an easy way to re-attach it so that it moves freely. it might be as simple as a sleeve or screw -

will have to see if my dad or i can figure something out. he's usually more handy at actually DOING things, but i tend to have the advantage in the idea department, so we make a good team.....

Yeah, it should be easy enough to fix.

Even without having it in my hands I can see several possibilities.
