Kiwi,
Thanks, that's a good article. I certainly agree, especially about fruit trees and peppers. I planted a sour cherry tree, a Montmorency, here in Georgia 13 years ago when we bought our house, because you can't even buy sour cherries at the market. My grandparents had a Montmorency cherry tree when I was growing up so I grew up eating sour cherry pie. Everyone said it wouldn't produce fruit here in Georgia but we get a bumper crop every year and the cherries make the most delicious pies and crisps that you can imagine. I also try to grow all my own peppers, green and hot, because they are cheaper and more flavorful. Cheers, Andy |

I'd kill for a sour cherry tree - I'd make kirschwasser! I move around a lot though, so no fruit trees for me - strictly what I can move around with me. I do have an effective mobile vege garden though :)
