I have recently read some very moving articles about home gourmets´ conflict cuisine.

From, your own viewpoint, what would you consider conflicitive cuisine or ingredients that conflict ?

My point of view; too many ingredients that have no common origin for example ... Too much of one ingredient poorly handled --- as if there is too much of it and is over-powering ...

Anything too overdone or overcooked ...

To many foods on a plate; I prefer only one element on a plate and then, a side dish on separate plate, so the pan juices do not over-run on my fish for example --- destroying my fish ...

Sauces in a sauceboat, and I can drizzle myself is another ...

Too much vinegar or too much Evoo can spoil a wonderful salad ...

Any dish that looks un-appealing.

Margaux.
