  Hello Melissa!  Happy New Year.

I've had black garlic on a few occasions at a few restaurants, but I've never had the opportunity to cook with it myself.  The times I've had it it was used as a flavorful garnish, it was used sparingly.  Not a tiny amount...but just to get a pocket of it's flavor throughout.  Another way that may be useful, haven't tried it, is to use a micro-plane and grate it atop a dish.  The dish could be a salad, but it could also be grated over chicken saltimbocca...or something like that.

Let us know how you end up using it and what your impressions are.
Enjoy The Food!

I got it from an Israeli article .we were in israel now and black garlic  is very popular.
Who ever heard of  black garlic?

Black garlic is actually standard garlic , natural, additive-free, who fermentation processes and ageing for a month. Following these processes have changed the properties of garlic as they are known to us and it turned black, syrupy, soft and can be eaten as candy.

The biggest change is actually the inner compound of garlic variable during fermentation processes. Minerals, vitamins and antioxidants found in any white that give him his healing powers known, are much higher at any black.

How do you eat it?

No it is almost completely different taste and texture white garlic, and stated sugary flavor with a touch of tartness, like candy, is a soft, viscous and dissolves in the mouth. Equally important - it does not leave your hands smell when cooking and not your mouth.

China and Korea are eating the energy bars black garlic in its natural form, it is also recommended intake by nutritionists - about 2-3 teeth in the morning on an empty stomach, to assist in cleaning toxins.

I used it, but since the recipe's mostly grains I'll post in there.

Black garlic can help reduce inflammation and even help reverse the damage of alcohol on the liver, as well as to remove fat that’s accumulated on the river, thanks to its potent antioxidant properties.
