Sources for Australian Food Products

   With our recent trip to Sydney, The Beautiful Mrs. Tas and I encountered quite a few food products that cannot be found locally, or even in the United States. Luckily, thanks to the miracle of the Internet, we can order and receive some of those products.

Here is a listing of online sources that I am currently aware of for Australian products. Many of them also carry New Zealand and British products.

This morning, I sent an inquiry to www.aussiefoodproducts.com about a product; I received a very prompt, friendly and helpful reply that also coincidentally contained good news. 

I placed my order and found that the shipping rates were reasonable, all things considered; with the other Australian sources, the shipping rates seemed higher, probably due to customs, duties etc., whereas aussieproducts.com distributes from California. World Market and Amazon can be good for shipping (depending on the merchant), but product availability could be an issue.

	Just a quick follow-up on my order from www.aussieproducts.com: I received an email yesterday (25th November) stating that my order was being shipped and should arrive Wednesday morning (28th November); not bad, especially since I ordered during a holiday week and weekend!
