Many companies offer special summer ice cream flavors. This year's best seems to be Edy's Summer Peach Pie Ice Cream with big chunks of peaches and pie crust in it. Run! don't walk to the store to get some before it's gone. You won't be sorry. RD

We'll definitely have to check those out, Rocky! So far the kids are loving the Highland Ol' Recipes flavors and usual summer standards. Thanks for sharing the info!  Thumbs Up

Edy's makes some really fine ice cream too. That peach pie sounds like a real winner to me, but maple walnut and butter pecan will always be my favorites.
Go ahead...play with your food!

Man, what a great thread for this time if year, and I don't really like ice cream! I will admit, though, that the other day the ice cream man came around the neighbourhood and I bought a couple of the old timey things called "push-ups"...remember those? Orange sherbet for 15 cents and what a wonderful taste. 'Course,  it set me back way more now than it did then, but back then 15 cents was hard to come by too! Been at least 20 years since I had one of those push ups and they still taste great Smile

Just four miles from my location you have to show proof of age to buy some flavors of ice cream!

Check out their other flavors also. This is all top shelf product.

If you haven't had hokey pokey ice cream, you haven't yet lived. We're lucky here, having some of the best milk in the world - all our cattle etc is free range, no factory farms or feedlots. just tastes better.
kai time!

Back in Junior High, my best friend and I used to get fudge swirl push-ups from the cafeteria and compete to see whose had the most fudge,
