Given my post today in fun food facts, I thought I'd start a poll and see what the general consensus was. That was new information to me, and I'm changing my ways of prepping chicken.
I used to rinse it and pat it dry sometimes, then sometimes just put it in a brine. From now on, it's back to being "the dirty bird" and I'll kill the bacteria with heat. |

Exactly as you said. I don't like splashing "chicken juice" all over the sink if I don't have to.
