I had some Naan that needed using, so I whipped up my take on Masoor Daal, a lentil and onion curry.
still peckish after, so had a couple of papadom with tamarind chutney Then a G&T to wash it down: Miss Kiwi is starting to wonder why I take the camera to the table ![]() |

it's a normal phase that we all go through, kiwi!
after a while, they simply accept it!
another great-looking creation there....i will have to try naan when i am ready to shift my culinary attention from europe to asia!

Unfortunately, I cannot claim the naan or tamarind chutney as my own creation. I'm working on it though. I get packs of pappadams from the indian shops (same place I get all my lentils etc) and they are bloody cheap, $2 for maybe 30 or so, you just fry them or put them in the microwave for a minute.
