I decided to give Golabki a try from our friend Dave's cook book. Man this was great I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different. Or at least it's different for my family. Came out great and I am looking forward to the Italian beef sammies I am in the process of making from his cook book as well. Here are some of the pics and thanks for looking. All snug and tight, ready for the tomatoes and bacon. all dressed up and ready for the oven Just pulled and wow these were great. I didn't get any pics of one cut open but what a nice simple hearty meal. They really knew what they were doing when they came up with this dish. Thanks Dave for a new experience !!!! |

That was our experience as well. Golabki is one of our new favorite dishes. Congratulations. Well done. Your posts are making me really hungry tonight, first the Idaho potato cake and now this, I wanna come eat at your house.

Reading this reminded me that I need to make Dave's salisbury steak. I think I'll shoot for that tomorrow night.
