1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbl sesame oil
1/2 tsp chile flakes
4 cloves minced garlic
2 Tbl fresh minced ginger
3# baby back ribs
3 scallions, green parts, thinly sliced
in a large bowl whisk together sugar, soy, oil chile flakes, garlic and ginger with 1/4 cup of water.  add ribs and coat well. cover bowl with plastic and marinate at room temp for a hour or so, over overnight in the refer.
place the ribs curved side up on a lined sheet pan with baking rack.  roast for 30 minutes in a 450 deg over on each side, or until tender
while the ribs are roasting add marinade to a sauce pan and bring to a roil and reduce.  use this to baste ribs
serve with the basting sauce and scallions.

Hmmmm...I'm thinking this might be awesome done with CSR's in the smoker.

Might even toss some pineapple chunks in there for good measure.
Go ahead...play with your food!
