   Anyone interested in heirloom veggies should plan on attending the annual heirloom seed swap and meet & greet held at the Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center, in Berea, Kentucky. 

Always held on the first Saturday in October, this year's get-together will be on October 4.

One of the more important heirloom events each year, growers from at least six states attend this meeting, to sell, trade, and just hand out seed from their collections.
