I really didn't know what to call this thread, but it's long been an idea of mine to have all the folks willing to run a swap with someone else to post a sampling of what is available in their area only. If someone else is interested, they have only to pm me with a request, and we'll work something out. Here is a starter sample of items available only in a very small radius around Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts:

This spice mix is for the sauce to put on a Coney Island style weiner..curiously enough, only available in Rhode Island. They are affectionately known as "gaggers", and must be consumed with a glass of ice cold coffee milk.

This is a Del's lemonade...a frozen concoction made with FRESH lemons (chunks of lemon right in it) the closest thing to it if you've never had one would be a "slurpy" I guess. Del's sells a mix to make small amounts of this delicacy, and I have to tell you....it's awesome with a shot of vodka or tequila LOL.

Bell's seasoning...absolutely indispensable for making the Thanksgiving stuffing. A true New England tradition.

Coffee syrup is a mainstay in Rhode Island...kids here drink coffee milk growing up...not chocolate milk. Again..it is a must do with wieners.

A nice pilsner, crisp and refreshing...light on the pallet. Great with steamed clams, or littlenecks on the halfshell.

Sakkonet Vineyards won their first award for "Eye of the Storm" a nice blush that was named because a hurricane did indeed affect the harvest that year.

I will add new items as I come across them, so check back...and let's see what you have in your back yard!?

And of course, good old Rhode Island Red

	Hey nice looking stuff Dave! About that lemonade thing....is it a powder that you add crushed ice and lemons to, or a liquid. It sounds pretty tasty. Also that Narragansett looks pretty darn good and I'd love to do a sixpack exchange with you if you have any desire for MO beer. 	Sounds good to me John, we also have another local beer called Newport Storm. I'm not so fond of it, but lots of folks are. The lemonade mix is a powder, and will ship no problem at all if you're interested. http://www.newportstorm.com/

	Hey Dave, before it gets much warmer, lets get a 6pack exchange on. The Naragannsett is good for me. What kind you liek from here? We got Wheat, pale ale, IPA, bock, porter etc....two good brewing companies nearby.

	Dave, I'd like to swap for some of that coffee syrup, lemon drink, and a six-pack. Anything from Georgia you would like to try? I'll see what I can think of that is unique to this area. Andy
