Y'all may have noticed that, overnight, Ron has posted a whole series of bits and pieces attributed to me that he feels are useful, informative, or just entertaining.
Just so you understand the context, these recipes, how-tos, etc. are parts of private correspondence he and I have had, some of it going back a year or even more. The individual posts are not random musings, although they may appear to be so. Our emails to each other tend to be long and rambling, and a recipe may not follow the paragraph before it, nor have much to do with the one following. Other times there is a general context, which may or may not appear in a specific email. But the part he's put up on the board can stand alone. For instance, the posts on Matelote and Maltese Fish Soup are part of an continuing conversation we've had on fish soups. One that is likely to continue, on and off, for a long time. Hope you find them useful, or at least interesting. And, of course, each of them serves as the basis for a forum discussion. So jump in with your thoughts and comments. |
