I'll leave it to Mike to explain the situation, if he wants to do so - but he could use any thoughts, prayers or good vibes that we have for him.

Good luck, Mike - I am sure things will go well for you!

Ron

Thanks guys.

To make a long story short, around mid April of this year I started getting a tingling / numbness sensation in my right arm/hand. Sometimes extending all the way down my right side into my foot.

So, doc sends me to a neurologist, he sends me for a brain/spine MRI. They find a couple spots in my brain and swelling in my spinal column, so he says it's MS and sends me off to an MS specialist.

MS specialist isn't sure it's MS based on what she sees, but wants to confirm with her colleagues. They can't decide either, so they order a spinal tap. Which is what I had yesterday.

Now, anyone who knows me, knows I don't deal with needles well. Even normal blood draws or vaccine shots put me in a tizzy. It's not the pain it's the fact taht there's something under my skin. So you can imagine what the thought of a needle going into my spine and spinal column do to my anxiety.

Anyway, I survived the procedure. Not something I'd want to do again anytime soon though. I'm not quite out of the water yet though. Until the hole in the spinal column heals if too much fluid leaks out it can cause massive headaches. Like migraine times 100 I'm told. Hopefully we can avoid that.

So, now we wait to see the results of the test, and where we go from here.

Keep us informed, Mike - we'll be praying for some good news ~

Never had one of those, so I can't imagine what it must have been like; but based on what little I know, my apprehensions would be identical to yours - or worse!

Been there, done that, Mike. The trick is to remain in bed, with no moving around, for the first 10/12 hours after the tap. Obviously, you're past that. So headaches should be a non-issue.

Other that that, keep plugging. Whatever it is, let's find it and fix it! 'Nuff said.
