A barrage of foreign & ethnic dishes fill the island of Manhattan.

My younger un-identical twin daughter, the brunette, Nathalia, and I have been on our Manhattan Epicurean Escape since the 9th of August.

Sincé, I have lived and worked in the Mediterranean since 1992, and have only travelled over to see my parents ( in 2010 - dad passed on at the age of 94 ), we have encountered some wonderful gastronomic surprises headed up by a couple of Michelin Spanish & Italian Chefs ... and some truly enchanting non starred venues, including French, Italian and Greek.

We celebrated Nathalia´s birthday at:

MANZANILLA - 345 Park Avenue South - corner East 26th Street

Owned by Michelin starred Marbella, Málaga Chef, Dani García. This is a must for tapas aficionados ... Absolutely the best of Spain in Manhattan and a fanstastic wine carte. The prices are reasonable too, and the ambience phenomenal, Marbella fusión Barcelona Capital and Madrid Capital ...

Ahron,

If you ever come across the Atlantic for a stop in Manhattan, I highly suggest MANZANILLA. It was truly wonderful Spanish cuisine at a reasonable cost.

We enjoyed it very much and the wine carte is impressive with wines veered toward Spain and its 75 desginations however they had wines from South Africa, France, California, Oregon, Washington State, Bajo California, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, Slovenia and The New York State´s Governor who has endorsed a New York State Sparkling Wine ...

We had a Mariadje; a differently paired wine with each Tapa we had selected.

Kindest regards.
Margi.
