MARCH AND APRIL IN THE MADRID CAPITAL ...

A City full of life, as author Ernest Hemmingway, has been know to state, " A CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS " ... and this still holds true today. 

The Easter season brings us, Cirque du Soleil ( circus ), The Easter Processions, the arrival of the green vegetable season harvests, tourists from all four parts of the globe, the legacy of the House of Alba art exhibition being held at Cibeles Palace and an array of music offered freely to our visitors in numerous Basilicas and churches throughout the city. 

The IFEMA, international convention centre holds several yearly annual trade fairs during this season including: SALON GOURMETS, one of the loveliest trade fairs and tasting events of the season to which we are attending in April, Moto Madrid, Madrid Golf, and numerous exhibitions in our masterful museums, Museo de Prado, the Pompeii Vesuvius Exhibit at the Exhibition Centre Arte Canal, which was a step back in time, featuring over 600 pieces, from the Archaeological Museum of Napoli ... Filippo and I truly enjoyed these amazing excavations which we have seen in Pompeii. 

Furthermore, there is the Klee and La Bauhaus 137 painting exhibit at the Juan March Foundation, and the Van Gogh exhibit at the Museo Thyssen Bornemisza to name a few ... 

THE THEATRE AND THE CINEMA ... 

GRAN VÍA, Madrid´s Broadway always has a wonderful selection of theatrical masterpieces, for example, The Lion King, which is absolutely awesome musically and in design of sets and costumes ... Very pleasurable evening ...
