Maswia salata Childhood food

Till the next dish this one is a must .

As children with a non trained Palate   every Combinations of food  is a fair game .

There was days we just got Together and everybody Brought some food from home .

We used to take a loaf of bread remove the inside and fill it with cold meat , meat bolls  or cheese .

But the thing that brought all the flavours together was my friend  Maswia salata .

It is fried vegetables with  hot chilli  and spiced that are mixed together .it is like a ratatouille .

we mixed it with the meat or the cheese and stuff it in the bread man this was good .

 this dish is from Libya or Tunisia  ..

 Fried Eggplant and  chillies

fried  peppers

Fried tomato and garlic salt pepper .
