Here:

And here:

http://www.amazon.com/Weber-7451-Standard-Kettle-Charcoal/dp/B000WEMH3C/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

(Please click on the above links and take a look at the products - doing so helps this forum pay for itself!)

I've got a smaller 18.5-inch grill, but it's just not big enough for the things I do, so the Beautiful Mrs. Tas and my kids chipped in to get these for me! Tongue

Looking forward to many backyard adventures!

What about the rest of the dads on the forum? Whatcha got?

OK good buddy....you got the weber, but did you also get permission to grab a vortex while you're at it?
Go ahead...play with your food!

Didn't he talk about getting a vortex a week or so back? Seems I recollect that he did.

Just like Ron to do things bass akwards. First he gets the vortex. Then he gets his bride to fork out for a Webber big enough to use it on.

Hmmmmmmmm? M'thinks that was his plan all along.

The Beautiful Mrs. Tas and I made it home from work a while ago to see that the Weber had arrived! Normally, I would be elated, but we'd been up since 0430, and I didn't get much sleep Monday night, either, as I had been playing guitar with my dad and a friend at a cocal watering hole until midnight or so.

Sleep, more work - and then I'll take a look at what I have!

I'll quickly respond to replies.... long story short, I do have a Vortex - have used it twice in the smaller Weber - and was impressed with how it really did improve performance for the intended usage!

P.S. - Mike: cool gift! Something I do need to get one day.....

Thanks to everyone - keep those Fathers' Day stories coming!

Belated Father“s Day To All ... Sounds wonderful Tas.

Wow, a new home, Dan. Congratulations.

Unfortunately, mom passed on 3rd March and Dad in 2011; so there was no celebrating.

A magnificant Sashimi, lunch out, and a busy Sunday, writing articles for my numerous projects and lunch out.
