Not shown are pre and post dinner drinks. Vermouth and limoncello This was fun, a real stuffer, and a lot of work (on my part). Expect to use the better part of a Sunday eating and drinking your way through this should you decide to give it a go. Quite a difference between this and racing to the nearest fast food restaurant. Cook it and they will come! Antipasti
Barchette di radicchio (Radicchio “Boats” Filled with Mascarpone, Gorgonzola, Glazed Walnuts and drizzled with honey) Primi Piatti Cacio e pepe (Cheese and Pepper) A Roman classic Ingredients: Pasta, Pecorino, Black Pepper Secondi Piatti Parmigiana di melanzane (Eggplant Parmesan) Ingredients: Eggplant, flour, eggs Simple tomato sauce Ingredients: Imported D.O.P. Certified San Marzano tomatoes, a few lightly crushed garlic cloves, a few fresh basil leaves, a few drops of evoo. Insalata A leafy green salad dressed with evoo, red wine vinegar and oregano Dolce
Budino di ricotta (Ricotta Pudding with strawberry coulis) Ingredients: Ricotta without additives, eggs, flour, sugar Coulis: Fresh ripe organic strawberries, lemon juice, sugar |
