La Provincia: Salta and Catamarca, sharing northwestern boundaries with Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay in the Andean Foothills. NEW ARGENTINIAN DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN ...
Written and reported on by: Margaux.
Argentina has been producing some very stunning treasures, in its relatively new appellation in Northwestern Argentina called: SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMÁN ( www.argentina.travel )
Here are three highly recommended Argentinian vineyard treasures to try this Christmas 2012:
1) SIETE VACAS ( 7 Cows ) is a white, 100% Torrontés Grape variety and has been winning wine awards worldwide. www.boldegasgalasrcas.ar
This 100%& Malbec red was produced in the region of Cafayete Valley and hails from a boutique winery. Lovely.
This wonderful Malbec is also produced by the same Vintners in the province of Mendoza, and is considered one of the best in the country. See their latest red, called ZAHA which is being produced in the Andes foothills in San Miguel de Tucúman & Salta vicinity.
Kind regards.
Margaux.
