I will be out of action for the next few days kids....have to get some stents put into my carotid arteries to hopefully prevent the recurrence of a stroke.
Please contact Brook if there are any problems with the forum, and I'm sure he'll do his best to get them straightened out.

Well, I'm home already! Just one night in the hospital. The Docs said I had "significant" blockages in both carotids, and they put two stents in the right one. It went from a 90% blockage to less than 15%, and when they took they pictures with the injected dye, they said my entire brain "lit up like a Christmas tree" ergo...probably no need at all for a second procedure. I'll find out for sure at my follow-up inn a couple weeks, but that scenario sure works for me. Big smile
