for those who have a big green egg, this is a simple but tasty mix for chicken
1 - while chicken
3 tablespoons butter
3 oz while wine (dry vermouth works well)
about 1 teaspoon garlic juice
2-4 cans beer

Melt the butter, adding in the garlic juice and white wine
this makes a simple liquid which you inject in small amounts throughout the chicken
Set the injected chix in a vertical holder and place in a disposable aluminum pan
set the green egg up for indirect firing, load with charcoal and lump oak, mesquite or whatever wood you like to smoke with
Place the chicken on the indirect plate and pour a can of beer into the pan
cook at 325-350 for about an hour and a half, adding another can of beer half way through
This gives adequate time to drink the other can or beer or two

I'm such a dork, LOL. I was wondering what a "green egg" was! Thought it was some delicacy I hadn't heard of. Figured it out after I read the recipe!
