Nice home grown lamb(this ones 31kg on the hook)


Here it is on the spit after its been stuffed with lemons,garlic and a bit of seasoning


Hmm a bit of basting.Olive oil,garlic,Italian herbs and salt.


Looking good



This took about 5 hours to cook and fed close to 60 people including kids

excellent, jd - i am impressed with the simple flavors complimenting lamb perfectly. very nice!
 
our area here in montana is known for good lamb, and a friend of the family raises them. with spring coming, i may have to see if i can acquire a good lamb for just this kind of thing.Star

Good idea mateWinkIts hard to beat a nice lamb cooked on the spit,you just need a few people to help you eat it

Lamb is my favorite JD...outstanding job there.  You must have driven your neighbors crazy with how good that had to smell.Thumbs Up
