Hi Everyone. I just found this forum, and I hope I can contribute.

I enjoy different foods from all over the world, and look forward to discovering new ideas on how to cook various foods.

All my best to you all
Darko

Welcome Darko,

I'm kind of new myself, but have already found this to be one of the most friendly and useful cooking sites on the web.

Don't hesitate to jump right in and take part in current discussions, or start new ones of your own.

Good Morning,

Welcome aboard to a wonderful world of gastronomy. We look forward to your posts. Though I am not Canadian, my Swiss French Mom had immigrated to Vancouver, and I was raised there. Gorgeous country ...

What is truly an awesome experience is, that this Forum has members from all over the globe, from Montana, Rhode Island, Wasington D.C., Kentucky, The European Union, The U.K., Canada and A To Z countries, states, provinces, Metropolis Cities and towns ...

Look forward to reading your posts too ...

Kindest Regards.
Margi Cintrano.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

To give a little more background on myself, I was born in Croatia, and my family emigrated to Canada when I was 4. I live in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario with my wife & 2 sons. I've always enjoyed trying different foods, and am fortunate to live in an area where it's relatively easy to find almost anything as far as various foods and/or ingredients are concerned.

Darko - I think your very interesting background will be a great benefit to the forum, and we are sure glad you are here. As you can see by looking around, we could certainly learn more in our Canadian and Balkan sections of the forum.

If you have any "family favourites" to post, we'd love to see them ~ Tongue

I think I'll be able to contribute. There are many recipe's available from Croatian cuisine that I'll be posting shortly. As well, I'm doing a bit of research into specific foods from Canada, at least my locale, so I hope to post those soon.

No need to thank me. Thanks go to you for providing this forum so that the rest of us have some place to argue/discuss various points of global food.Clap
