What's a good way to make sure they're clean? I don't use pesticides on my lawn, but the neighbors have dogs, and there are wild critters, and you never know...

I just fill the sink with cold water, Melissa, add the greens, and swish them around a bit. Drain the water. If it appears particularly dirty (which is rare) I'll give the greens a second rinse.

Here , we have a lot of curly dock, makes a very good boiling green.
