The weather was really nice last weekend, so I rolled out the MES (no charcoal in the house!) and barbecued a butt roast that was in the neighbourhood of 5.5 pounds.

For a rub, I used a Greek-style rub that I came up with:

It works really, really well on spare ribs, so I said why not? The only difference was that I added onion powder to the rub, as well.

I smoked the butt over pecan; as with the spare ribs, I used a 50/50 mix of fresh lemon juice and olive oil for a mop. As with the spare ribs, I was not disappointed in the least.

I served the pulled pork with home-made tzatziki (recipe in link above), and a tomato-cucumber-onion salad dressed with a little lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper. This whole thing was bang-on good. Everything about it was excellent, indeed.

I didn't get any photos, but you can get an idea from the pictures in the link above. Give it a try, and you will be liking it, for sure!
