Created some 'experimental' sauerkraut tonight. Wanted to add caraway seed. Rummaged around my hell-hole of a spice drawer. Came up empty. Went back for juniper berries and while in there found some dill weed. Added some of each and returned them to the hell-hole. Decided I needed some more dill. Accidentally grabbed thyme leaves and didn't notice until I had already added some to the crock. Went back for the dill and came up with winter savory. You guessed it, added it before I noticed. Decided that was enough spices for this batch. Who knows what this is gonna taste like, but I'll let you know when I taste it.
