Hope that you have been having a lovely summer.

An Unexpected Trip ..

Just one hour north of Barcelona, the city of Girona possesses an infinite timelessness and a surprise in store at every step of the way thanks to its uncountable museums, traditional celebrations and numerous street festivals all year long. There are also various layers of history to explore, in a maze of Medieval secret corners as well as its historical gastronomy and wines.

Girona, nestled in an unrivalled location between the mountains to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the east, it is one of the best preserved hist├│ric cities in Catalonia. It was founded by The Romans, and later became a Moorish stronghold. By 1809, Girona withstood three invasions by Napolean┬┤s troops, and since then it has been called the city of a thousand sieges.

Have fun.  Maybe some day we will visit that area as part of a transatlantic cruise.  Maybe.

Wannabebwana,

Thank you very much.

I would love to post some photographs however, since Photo Bucket is no longer functioning, and I am as techi as a peanut, I have to ask Dave (Hoser)  or Ron (Tas) to post the photographs for me.

I had tried endless times, however, cannot seem to do it ..

However, on Monday, I shall ask Ron and Dave.

The photographs are predominately restaurants and a variety of food products and art of plating for my PDF FLIP BOOK DIGITAL magazine.

Have a lovely summer and all my best wishes.
