I will be out of action for the next few days kids....have to get some stents put into my carotid arteries to hopefully prevent the recurrence of a stroke. Please contact Brook if there are any problems with the forum, and I'm sure he'll do his best to get them straightened out. Dave ------------- Go ahead...play with your food! |

Well, I'm home already! Just one night in the hospital. The Docs said I had "significant" blockages in both carotids, and they put two stents in the right one. It went from a 90% blockage to less than 15%, and when they took they pictures with the injected dye, they said my entire brain "lit up like a Christmas tree" ergo...probably no need at all for a second procedure. I'll find out for sure at my follow-up inn a couple weeks, but that scenario sure works for me.  ------------- Go ahead...play with your food! |
