Interesting. I'll admit I had to look up what Landsknecht means. Sounds like something I'd be interested in when it comes out. Karl, Shall do !! Thank you for links. I just printed the Pdf of the English language Recipes. I like the idea of the cheese soup, the leeks and the beef chunks .. Can be a lovely warmer up on a chilly day !! I shall keep you informed when I tackle a new cuisine for me, however, highly traditional in varying formats and family recipes in Europe. The author appears to be a cool dude and emphasizes that he is not comfortable in relationship to sales. Also his historical knowledge is quite astute. Very enjoyable. Thanks once again. I finally received my English edition. It is a well bound little book. Most of the recipes are very basic and easy to try in either a modern kitchen or camp.  |
