New limited series on Netflix tracing the roots of African-American cuisine.  Just watched the first show and it takes the host to Benin, the exit point for black slaves going to America (and elsewhere).  

The first show is pretty sobering, but also shares some very neat dishes traditional to the area.

Sounds very interesting.  Shall have to see if we can tune in from Spain.
