This dish specially cooked in winter and it is traditional dish of Punjab. Makki ki Roti is Best combination with Saag.

Saag of Sarson i.e. mustard and chapatis of Makki with lot of butter or desi ghee and lassi are the best food in Punjab during winter. It is evergreen winter dish liked very much in Punjab.

I typically tasted the popular Saag organized by the Punjabis. I was impressed when Gagan, my mate, mentioned about it. I was questioning what could be the seven varieties of leaves which are used in the preparation of this Sat Varga Saag.
