i put this here because it comes from a fisherman in washington state, who smoked the most delicious salmon ever. sadly he passed on now
about 8 oz smoked salmon 4 oz cream cheese 4 oz sour cream about a 2 oz glass of chives mix it all together dig out the crackers and beer depending on your tastes the amounts of ingredients will vary. in my case i use more than 8 oz of salmon and add a bit of peri peri powder. |

hey, butch - this is a great recipe and similar to one that i have used with smoked trout.
for those of you who haven't tried this, you're definitely missing out!

Pretty close to what the wife makes. About the only difference is we use green onion and a tiny bit of horseradish. If you don't have smoked fish you can cheat by using baked or canned salmon and liquid smoke.
