From hm1996 at www.accuratereloading.com:
 
Quote 1 1/4 Cups Mazola Salad Oil
6 teaspoons salt
15 cloves of garlic
4 large onions
1 1/2 cup vinegar
7 lbs. Tomatillos (husk tomatoes)
2 # Cerrano Peppers

Finely chop tomatillos, onions, garlic and cerranos in food processor and blend in large pot. Yields 5 1/2- 6 quarts.

hm and I have been discussing the possibility of using green tomatoes, rather than tomatillos - has anyone ever tried green tomatoes for salsa verde?
