Best place to shop for Chinese ingredients, must be China, Right?  Actually, this is Hong Kong (I'll post some PRC pictures later).
 
I call this a "Tail" of three fish markets.
 
Here is Market 1:
 
The fish and shellfish are in bowls of water and they even have an aerator going to each bowl to keep the water oxegentated and thus keep the fish alive.  Here's another shot
 
 
Let's move on to number two:
 
The fish on the platters don't appear top be "kicking" anymore.  The rest of the setup looks neat and tidfy, but I din't see an aerator.  Shop early at this one, I think. 
 
 
 
Let's move on to number three:
(I'm not sure what to say on this one)
a little closer if you dare
 
Not an ice cube in sight!
 
I have many more adventures (and  recipies to share) from many parts of the world

Fascinating John, and somewhat gross....I could almost smell it if you know what I mean. I'll stick to good old Wilfred's Seafood.
