Our chives are up!
Time to start putting the planting table my sister made to good used. :D Hey, has anybody grown edible maypops/passionfruit in Zone 5? This has me VERY curious: http://www.onegreenworld.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_155&products_id=2084 |

Hey good to hear about your chives! Definitely get that planting table seeded or "seedling'd" and get a start on the summer vegetables.
Nope, neither Mrs Rivet nor I have ever planted those things, but the flower from the link's site looked pretty.

Good thing I love chives. They take over my garden every year-and sometimes part of the lawn! I can't wait to make Chive Flower + Lemon Vinaigrette again.
Pretty and unusual, which I guess makes it worthwhile even if it doesn't fruit, but I do love passionfruit, and it's SO expensive around here! |
