Classic Tyrosalata
This is a lovely piquant cheese dip served with pita.
1/2 pound of Feta Cheese
3 tblsps of olive oil
a long green pepper chopped finely
dried chili pepper ( 2)
Oregano 2 tsp.
freshly ground blk pepper to taste
lemon juice fresh 1/2 tblsp
PureƩ the peppers, feta, oregano and blk pepper in food processor or blender. Slowly add the extra virgin olive oil. Season to taste, and add lemon juice. Blend again. Serve at room temperature with warm Pita and a glass of wine.
Yield: 1 cup
