They (grayling) are supposed to be in the Milk River, but I've never seen any;most likely, they are hundreds of miles upstream, the headwaters....

Hi, Margi -
No, there is no saffron in this Dutch dish; if you look at Chris's comment, he explains the yellow colour here:
Both this dish and the Bergensk fiskesuppe look like wonderful, comforting northern European dishes that use egg yolks as a liason for velvety, creamy consistency ~ I'm looking forward to trying them both, and comparing them.
