I’m not usually a blog reader. There are far too many of them, and most, imo, are not worth the bandwidth they take up.

Recently, while researching some ethnic foods, I came across Panning The Globe (http://www.panningtheglobe.com), and immediately fell in love. Lisa, the blogger, does as an individual what we try to do in a discussion group: explore the various cuisines of the world. She brings insights and understanding to the dishes, rather than merely serving as a recipe dump.

This is exactly the approach taken by Ron when he started this group, and reflects my view of global cuisine, which I’ve tried to share with my various posts, particularly the themed meals and primers.

I’ve invited Lisa to join our community. But whether she chooses to or not, I strongly advise members to check out her blog. It’s well worth reading.

This sounds great, Brook - thank you for sharing.

I took a brief look and subscribed - will take a closer look when I am able to.

Thanks also for inviting Lisa - I think it would be awesome to share ideas with her.

Took a quick look at the blog, and with your recommendation...easily decided that following her on Google+ is a no brainer.

   Thanks for the tip, Brook!
Enjoy The Food!
