The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg are quite close in distance. The key differences are that Luxemburg is veered toward a more elegant and stellar style of cuisine. Very beautiful but high cost of living. Belgium, of course, depending which región, is similar to northern French in style. |

I've got a lot of Dutch heritage. Also Irish, which may explain why I like things like colcannon and stampot so much. :)

Melissa, You should take a look at the amazing récipes (they are quite old .. 2013 more or less ) of Chris. He has alot of amazing récipes. He is Flemish if I am not mistaken .. Chris of Flanders, is possibly how he called himself here on Fotw. If you have problems finding his récipes, I am sure Historic Foodie and Dave Houser could assist you. These récipes should be located in The section of the Netherlands. I believe he is a native of this región, Flemish and Dutch border .. Have a lovely Sunday. |
